FLORY HOFLAND
Hofland / Flory / Tekenen en schilderen lopen als een rode draad door mijn leven. Na mijn opleiding aan de Vrije Academie en de KABK in Den Haag heb ik jarenlang lesgegeven en maakte in opdracht portretten. Momenteel werk ik vrij en met de natuur als onuitputtelijke inspiratiebron probeer ik de emotie van het moment vast te leggen waarbij kleur en sfeer bepalend zijn. Mijn werk, met acryl en/of pastel, is nooit fotografisch maar laat graag iets over aan de verbeelding van de kijker.
Drawing and painting are common thread in my life. After my education at the Vrije Academie and the KABK, The Hague, I taught for years and made portraits on commission basis. Nowadays I work autonomously and am inspired by nature. Nature’s inspiration is never ending and I try to depict the emotion in the moment with colour and atmosphere. My art is done in acrylics and/or pastel, never hyperrealistic but aims to leave parts to the imagination of the spectator.
