Mijn werk wordt sterk beïnvloed door o.a. Kandinsky, Georgia O’Keefe, Jane Hawkins, David Hockney, Margaret Elliot, Antoni Tapieś, Mark Rothko, Van Gogh and Paul Klee.
Mijn schilderijen zijn subjectief en gaan over mij, mijn leven, herinneringen, cultuur, reacties, gedachten, dromen etc. Ik werk voornamelijk in olieverf and met gemengde technieken. Soms op paneel maar meestal op doek. Mijn inspiratie komt van alles dat om mij heen is; alle vormen hebben mijn interesse. Mijn emotionele toestand bepaalt welke kleuren, lijnen, vormen ik gebruik en hoe de textuur en lagen eruit zien.

My paintings are subjective to me, my life, memories, culture, reactions, thoughts, dreams, etc. Working mainly with oil and other mixed media sometimes on board, mostly on canvas, I draw inspiration on what is around me; all forms interests me. I see and use them in the various emotional state I get into with colour, lines, 3-D shapes/forms, texture and layers.
